who?

My name is Robert Mace. I am a hydrogeologist by training who has practiced almost 30 years in Texas. I’ve worked at the Bureau of Economic Geology and the Texas Water Development Board and presently work at the Meadows Center for Water and the Environment as the Chief Water Policy Officer and at the Geography Department as a Professor of Practice, both at Texas State University. In addition to aquifers, I love hydrohistory, the intersection of science and policy, and assisting policymakers and the public in understanding water so they can make informed decisions.

I also love cats and tacos!
